Medivan Services

Empire Ambulance Medivan Service provides transport for clients wheelchair bound, bed bound, or someone who does not require medical care or monitoring during transport. We provide some of the best door-to-door assistance in Upstate New York.

Types of Services

Wheelchair

Our wheelchair bound or clients with limited mobility are provided safe transport in our vans. If you have no wheelchair, no problem we can provide one. Our vans can allow two wheelchairs along with two passengers at the same time!

Stretcher Van

Clients with the requirement to be in a reclined position can be given safe transport per our stretcher vans. We arrange two providers capable of lifting a weight limit of 250lbs. This van can accommodate one stretcher and one passenger.

Curb-to-Curb Assistance

For Clients who are mobile that are not requiring assistance we can provide safe transport to the needed destination

Insurances

We accept insurances of all kinds like Fidelis, Nascientia, and Prime, but unfortunately we do not accept Medicare; however Medicaid is accepted. We also accept private pay as well
